While not all glamor and glitz, PR is an oft-portrayed profession in TV and film.

Part of the reason may be that PRs act as a messenger between the main characters thoughts and actions for the audience. The PR helps key characters clarify and tell their story the to media and, in effect, to the viewing audience.

Here is a list of ten fictional public relations professionals portrayed in TV and film:

  1. Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) – “Scandal” (2012-2018): Olivia Pope is a high-powered crisis management expert who runs her own PR firm, Pope & Associates.
